Small is the new big

The guys over at 37signals comment about how Apple´s design language keeps evolving, with the influence of their small devices.

The widescreen iPod influenced the previous iMac Design. It looks like a Giant iPod!

btw - i am on a 20″ iMac like this shown below.

The new iPhone is a great influence over the new iMac. The back part of the iMac is similar to the iPhone back.

The new keyboard is similar to the one on the MacBook´s. Apple success is in great part because they focus on every detail, and i think their philosophy is “less is more”, here is an example.

iMac MultiTouch Concept

The video shows a concept ad of a iMac MultiTouch, and let me tell you that is very well done. The “iMac Multitouch” has an iPhone look, and i like it. Some ideas came to my mind, and Steve Jobs likes simplicity at it best, with no keyboard and maybe without mouse?
