Setup Gmail IMAP on your iPhone

Google recently added IMAP support to Gmail and this are good news for iPhone owners because IMAP allows changes made by the user to be reflected on the server, and not downloading and storing sent and received messages.

Gmail IMAP service may be an iPhone selling point for some users.

I am going to leave this video, that explains how to set up Gmail IMAP on your iPhone.

Enjoy!

Revirginize Your iPhone

Would you like to update to the 1.1.1 firmware version and play with the iTunes Music Store?

There was a method that i tried that involved , connecting to your iPhone over SFTP and SSH and execute some files and cheat SimFree application with the seczones on geohot server.

It´s complicated if you are a newbie ( I was stuck figiuring out some things :) ) but there is a better solution for that.

Solution for 3G on iPhone?

Intel has announced it´s new Moorestown Mobile Internet Device (MID) Processor coming out in 2009. Intel claims that Moorestown will bring serious computing power. This Intel processor has advantages over Samsung´s ARM-based chipset that is used on the iPhone. Moorestown power consumption is at “ultra low” levels and this may help in the issue of 3G battery hogs.

Maybe this new Intel processor is path for including 3G on the iPhone. Apple seems interested in this new plataform. Now we can expect all the versions of OS X under Intel

We can see in this video an iPhone Clone, but widescreen. What do you think?

Back iPhone Replacement

iphonebrandobackcover.png
Did you accidentally drop your iPhone? Do you want to search in ebay for a back replacement for your iPhone? I think not.

There is another way, the easy way to order a new but not official iPhone back replacement. That should do the trick, and all this cost only $32 or 35 and they ship to your doorstep worldwide.

Is Nokia Envious of Apple?

Nokia has a marketing tactic going on. I think they want some of the successful iPhones sales to their way. Nokia displays an ad which have been able to see in some walls of New York. The ad argues about phones should be open to modifications, and not tied to only one carrier like the iPhone with AT&T.

I think Apple is too busy dealing with the iPhone`s firmware 1.1.1 effects, causing iBricks. Or maybe preparing the new ultra slim MacBooks?
