iGmail

This is nice application. Now you can fully use Gmail on you iPhone. Head over to the Demo: http://igmail.naan.net/
According to the site:
In this demo site, your login details are not stored by naan.net. They are saved in a cookie of your iPhone. But, this server is not powerful (sometimes it’s very slow). Although it’s not encrypted. If you concern about security, please check out codes from my svn repository and build your own server.

Google Search for iPhone

It seems that Larry and Sergei have an iPhone by now, so they needed a Google search that is formatted specially for the iPhone.
The only positive thing of this, is that you dont get Google ads. The Google Search shows a single page of results and the sites displayed may not be formatted for the iPhone.
So if you are a fan of not zooming on your iPhone then you should use iPhone Search.

iPhone Brushed
I really like this modification that d.ballance made for his iPhone. It’s elegant and the iPhone should come standard with this touch. You pay 500+ dollars and you deserve top of the quality materials.
Let’s see how d.ballance accomplishes this look.
Using a little patience, masking tape, and brilo pad, I was able to take of the annoying iPod-esque material that was chosen to line the sides of the phone.
Turned out great, and applied the invisible shield.
This modification its brilliant ![]()

Materials on the iPhone Costs $220

An Austin-based company made an analysis on what was the cost of the materials used on the iPhone. Portelligent estimates that the cost of the 8GB version was about $220, and $200 on the 4GB version. This estimate doesn’t include costs of final assembly.
The touch screen is provided by a german company named Balda and its the most expensive part of the iPhone at $60 per unit.
Samsung supplied the main microprocessor chip (stamped with an Apple logo) and NAND-type flash memory for songs, video, and pictures.
That prices doesn’t include advertising cost, logistics etc. I think that Apple is going to benefit from the different deals with AT&T and Google( Youtube, Google Maps) . Carriers pay anywhere from 15% to 20% of revenue that was referred. Apple and AT&T are going to profit from the lifetime of a customer, thats why its a 2 year contract.
